We have over 30 years experience in the commercial chair and furniture industry. Having started with CoDesign back in the 80s and 90s, Piero, our team lead technician, has a wealth of expertise and knowledge on the mechanics of furniture, in particular office chairs. While working under CoDesign he had repaired chairs from European designers through to Australian design brands. More recently and for the past 25 years, Piero has been repairing chairs from Australian manufacturers including Mark Perry.

At Chairtech, we are able to offer advice on whether a chair(s) is safe and meets both ergonomic and OH&S requirements if repaired. And most times, this is the case. So, no need to purchase a brand new chair when you can repair what you already have at minimal cost. Sustainability is vital and whenever we can refrain from discarding furniture that goes to landfill then that’s a win for all of us.
